How to Lose Body Fat - Go Out to Eat
Restaurants and diners are becoming more health-conscious than they had in the past few years. They have many healthier choices to choose from if you are on a diet. Whether or not you order food to take home or eat at a restaurant, the same rules apply on how to lose fat. Even though it might be tempting to order another meal that isn’t something healthy, it is a better choice to order a health conscientious meal. This way you will feel better and will not put on more weight. You can still eat out and exercise to lose body fat by following these 7 simple choices below.
The first choice would be to consume zero calorie drinks and try and avoid alcohol with dinner. Also, avoid soft drinks, like coke, Pepsi, or root beer to name a few. Unsweetened ice tea, brewed tea or water are three good choices and they will not put on weight. The second choice is to go easy on the bread. Bread puts on weight. It is very easy to munch on two or three slices while you are waiting for you dinner to arrive.
The third choice is not to arrive early and hungry. Ask for a senior menu or child’s menu. It is not embarrassing and the restaurants will usually accommodate you. Grab a small healthy snack before you drive to the restaurant; otherwise, you will eat everything that this put in front of you and then some. A small snack will curb your hunger and you will be able to think clearly and make dinner choices more rational. The fourth choice is to make a healthier preference and choose chicken or fish instead of meat. Ask if it can be grilled or broiled and prepared without oil or butter. Order a baked potato instead of French fries or something that is labeled crispy, battered, or breaded, as they are other words for fried.
Fifth choice for your salad dish is to ask for dressings on the side, or bring your own. You could also dip your fork into the dressing first, and then into the salad. You will be eating less calories and sill can enjoy your salad! When ordering soup, remember that cream soups can put on weight rather than broth based soups. For dessert, choose fruit instead of cake or ice cream. The sixth choice is to ask for a doggie bag at the beginning of the meal–and, this way, you can decide on what you want to take home and eat at the restaurant. This way you won’t have the extra food to tempt you, after you are full, and you can have the leftovers the next day! The last choice is to share a meal with a friend.
Ask the waitress for an extra plate and divide the meal between you. This will save you money and you’ll eat less and stay on your diet. After dinner, take a nice long walk if you can and enjoy the time together and exercise at the same time. Whether or you enjoying a meal with friends, or out on a romantic date, you still can order something that is healthy and delicious and stay on your diet at the same time.
